What is a Changing Place?

Changing Places facilities are fully accessible public bathrooms and change spaces designed for people with profound disabilities and high support needs. Unlike standard accessible toilets, they feature a height-adjustable adult change table, a ceiling-mounted hoist, a centrally located peninsula toilet, and room for up to two carers. People must have a Changing Places universal key to be able to access the venue.
